The cuvée Bécarre is an excellent example of delicious, fresh and supple Cabernet Franc. After macerating for around two weeks and slow, delicate extractions, this cuvée ferments in concrete vats before being matured for around 9 months in barrels. It undergoes light filtration before bottling. Upon tasting, this cuvée stands out for its ripeness, its aromas of black fruits, its freshness and juicy finish. Far from being defined by its varietal, vegetal side, this cuvée is the perfect easy-drinking wine for with a good cut of beef.
Coralie and Damien Delecheneau took over the family estate in 2002 and are now writing new pages in its long history. Trying to stay as true as possible to the particularities of their vineyards in Montlouis and Touraine-Amboise, they chose organic farming for their 10 hectares of vines as the means to respect their land and let the grapes express themselves.
