Named after a mountain that provides the magnificent backdrop to the vineyards in Real de San Vicente. Garnacha vines are 70-80 years of age. Goblet pruned. Granitic sandy soils. 750-850m altitude. Hand harvested in boxes. 50% destemmed. Fermented in oak casks. Malolactic in French oak barrels. Matured for 20 months in used French oak barrels, 500-3,000L capacities. No fining or filtration.
